Answer:

We have 41^2 = 1681;

40^2 = 1600;

9^2 = 81;

1600 + 81 = 1681;

It works the Pythagorean Theorem Converse.

The triangle is right. It has the length of the hypotenuse 41mm.

Ive never seen a question like this tbh
Vikki [24]
The formula A=1/2bh is used to find the area of a triangle. You can find from the diagram that the base of this triangle is 9cm, and the height is 4cm. Plug those numbers into the area of a triangle formula.

A=1/2(9)(4)

Multiply to get 18 square cm, which is choice D.

Which sequence of transformations will produce similar but not congruent figures?
RoseWind [281]
A dilation would produce a similar figure. Therefore, the sequence of transformations that will produce a similar but not congruent figures would be the first and the third option. Figure TUVWX is dilated by a scale factor of 6 and then rotated 90° counterclockwise around the origin; and figure TUVWX is reflected across the x-axis and dilated by a scale factor of 7. Hope this answers your question.
