To test whether he given dimensions can form a right angle, we use the Pyhtagorean theorem. This is given by
c^2=a^2+b^2
where:
c=hypotenuse (which is the longest side)
a and b are the legs
thus plugging our values in the expression we shall have:
60^2=35^2+30^2
simplifying this we get:
60^2=3600
35^2+30^2=2125
since
3600≠2125
we conclude that the dimensions cannot form a right triangle

Answer:

C. Jeremy’s explanation is inaccurate. He incorrectly combined terms in step 2.

Explanation:

When Jeremy combined terms in the second step, he added 35 and 30, and then squared. You are supposed to square each number and then add the products.

A formula for finding the perimeter of a rectangle is P=2L +2W . if you know the perimeter (P) and the length (L) of a rectangle
Neko [114]
The original equation is
P=2L+2W

We will just switch the unknowns around. To find width (W), we must isolate it in the equation by moving 2L over to the other side:

P-2L=2W

(P-2L)/2=W

W=(P-2L)/2

There you go!!
