Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2√65 + 10

Step-by-step explanation:

From the attached graph, we can find that:

Points (-3,3) and (-3,-2) represents the width of rectangle.

And points (-3,-2)and (5,-3) represents the length of rectangle.

Now, By using distance formula we can find the length and width of rectangle.

Length = √ ((5-(-3))² + (-3 -(-2))²) = √( 8² + 1²) = √ 65

Width = √((-3 -(-3))²+(-2-3)²) = √(0² + 5²) = 5

so perimeter of rectangle will be:

Perimeter = 2(Length + width)

Perimeter = 2( √65 + 5)

Perimeter = 2√65 + 10

y = (x + 1) (x - 1) (x - 3)

Use the distributive property to multiply x+1 by x-1 and combine like terms.

y = (x² - 1) (x - 3)

Use the distributive property to multiply x² - 1 by x - 3.

y = x³ - 3x² - x + 3.

Find an equation of variation in which y varie inverely a x and y=5 and x=17. Then find the value of y when x=10
guajiro [1.7K]

Answer: If the graph of a relationship is a line or a ray through the origin, then it is proportional. If it is a line or ray that does not pass through the origin, then it is not proportional. Also, if it is not linear, then it is not proportional.

What is the solution to the system of equations below? y = -2x - 6 and 2y = -4x - 12
katen-ka-za [31]

Answer: Infinitely Many Solutions

Step-by-step explanation:

Substitute y into the second equation:

2(-2x-6)=-4x-12

Then you get -4x-12=-4x=-12. Since this is 0=0 it would make it infinitely many solutions.
