If 5x=-20 then it would be
- 20 + 2 - 2 =  - 18 - 2
adding 2 and subtracting 2 they cancel out so its
- 20 =  - 18 - 2
and if you subtract 2 from negative 18 it is negative 20 so it is true

Cancel −2 on both sides

5x+2=−18

Subtract 2 from both sides

5x=−18−2

Simplify −18 −2 to −20

5x=−20

divide both sides by 5

x=−20/5

simplify 20/5 to 4

x=−4

<h2><u>its false</u></h2>

The formula for the volume of a sphere is the following:

V= \dfrac{4}{3} \pi r^3

Plug in V=5000π and solve for the radius.

5000 \pi = \dfrac{4}{3} \pi r^3

Divide both sides by \pi

5000 = \dfrac{4}{3} r^3

Multiply both sides by 3/4 (to eliminate the 4/3 on the right side)
Also, flip the equation so we have the unknown variable on the left side (math etiquette).

r^3=3750

Take the cube root of both sides

r \approx 15.5

Now, calculate the surface area since now we know the radius.
The formula for the surface area is the following:

S=4 \pi r^2

Plug in r=15.5

S \approx 3033

The second choice is your answer.

What are the inputs of the following function?
igor_vitrenko [27]

Answer:

  A. {-4, -3, 7, 8}

Step-by-step explanation:

The ordered pairs representing a function are always written ...

  (input, output)

<h3>Inputs</h3>

The set of inputs for the given function is the list of first-numbers of the ordered pairs. Those numbers are -3, -4, 8, 7. When we express them as a set, we like to have the elements of the set in increasing order:

  inputs = {-4, -3, 7, 8} . . . . . . matches the first choice

Which of the following statements accurately describes the result of a decreasing worker-per-beneficiary ratio in the Social Sec
Marysya12 [62]

The correct answer would be,

Gennadij [26K]

The value of GK = 18.6, GM = 14.5 AND JZ = 19.9.

From the figure:

MZ is a perpendicular bisector of ∆GHJ.

GM = MJ

GM = 14.5

KZ is a perpendicular bisector of ∆GHJ.

GK = KH

GK = 18.6

Z is the circumcenter of ∆GHJ.

JZ = GZ

JZ = 19.9

Therefore the value of GK = 18.6, GM = 14.5 AND JZ = 19.9.
