155/100 is the answer because 8/10 is really 80/100 so you would add numerators and get 155 so you would slide your 100 as under as your denominator.

You would have to have common demoniators to add.
8/10 can be turn into 80/100 by multiplying the denominator and nominator by ten
75/100+80/100, you add the nominators ONLY, dont change the denominator.
75+80=155

so your answer would be 155/100

If the length of diagonal of a square is 4√2 cm, find it's length, perimeter and area.
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

As Per Provided Information

  • Length of diagonal of square is 4√2 cm

We have been asked to find the length , perimeter and area of square .

First let's calculate the side of square .

Using Formulae

\boxed{\bf \:Diagonal_{(Square)} \:  = side \sqrt{2}}

On substituting the value in above formula we obtain

\qquad\longrightarrow\sf  \:4 \sqrt{2}  = side \sqrt{2}  \\  \\  \\ \qquad\longrightarrow\sf  \:4  \cancel{\sqrt{2}} = side \cancel{ \sqrt{2}} \\  \\  \\  \qquad\longrightarrow\sf  \:side \:  = 4 \: cm

<u>Therefore</u><u>,</u>

  • <u>Length </u><u>of </u><u>its </u><u>side </u><u>is </u><u>4</u><u> </u><u>cm</u><u>.</u>

Finding the perimeter of square.

\boxed{\bf \: Perimeter_{(Square)} = 4 \times side}

Substituting the value we obtain

\qquad\longrightarrow\sf  \:Perimeter_{(Square)} \:  = 4 \times 4 \\  \\  \\ \qquad\longrightarrow\sf  \:Perimeter_{(Square)} = 16 \: cm

<u>Therefore</u><u>,</u>

  • <u>Perimeter </u><u>of </u><u>square </u><u>is </u><u>1</u><u>6</u><u> </u><u>cm </u><u>.</u>

Finding the area of square .

\boxed{\bf \: Area_{(Square)} =  {side}^{2}}

Substituting the value we get

\qquad\longrightarrow\sf  \:Area_{(Square)} \:  =  {4}^{2}  \\  \\  \\ \qquad\longrightarrow\sf  \:Area_{(Square)} = 16 \:  {cm}^{2}

<u>Therefore</u><u>,</u>

  • <u>Area </u><u>of</u><u> </u><u>square</u><u> </u><u>is </u><u>1</u><u>6</u><u> </u><u>cm²</u><u>.</u>

Given that f(x)=x^2 . In the space below, type a function that would shift f(x) right 2.5 units, down 7 units, vertically shrink
notka56 [123]
Translation by h right and k up: f(x-h)+k.
Vertically scale by k and reflect across the x-axis: -k·f(x).

After the translation, your function is
  f(x) = (x-2.5)² -7

After the scaling and reflection, your function is
  f(x) = (-2/5)((x -2.5)² -7)

mart [117]
The expression for the perimeter would be

2(x) + 2(2x+7)

which can be simplified to 2x+4x+14

which equals 6x+14

Which of the following coordinates is a solution to the linear equation?
Dima020 [189]
Right this is pretty simple all you do is sub the points to the equation given.
So first try the first point (2,-1) in y=-3x+7
==> -1=-3(2)+7
==>-1=1 this is not equal therefore not the right points

Then try (1,10)
==>10=-3(1)+7
==>10=4 this is incorrect therefore not the right points

Next try (3,-2)
==>-2=-3(3)+7
==>-2=-2 this is equal therefore this is the coordinates to the linear equation.

Finally try the last points to make sure you are correct.
==> -8=-3(-5)+7
==>-8=22 this is incorrect also.

Therefore the only coordinates that satisfies the equation is (3,-2)
