List some important ideas that The Giver includes. Why did you choose those ideas?
rodikova [14]
I'm assuming you mean the book :)
The Giver champions the idea that differences give us life. This is an incredibly important message, because differences are often stifled by society.

Another important idea in the book is the exploration of what would happen if the government took away our knowledge of history. This would drain us of a lot of power.

True or False : The most effective Islamic missionaries were mystics known as Sufis.
Ivan

Answer:

The answer is : True.

Explanation:

The name Sufi probably comes from the patched woolen garments preferred by the mystics; they did not deny the Islamic doctrine. Sufis became increasingly popular in Muslim societies because of their modesty, dedication, and eagerness to serve the needs of their fellow human beings. Sufi missionaries were particularly effective because they valued obedience to Allah -almighty God in the Islamic tradition- above doctrinal supremacy and accepted continued observance of pre-Islamic customs.

Florida was best known as the "supplier of the confederacy" because
professor190 [17]

Due to its geographical location, there was actually very little fighting in the territory that belonged to the state of Florida. As the major battles were fought in the northern state of Tenessee and Virginia. On the other hand, because of its favorable weather for agriculture, Florida was a main supplier of goods to the Confederacy troops. This became increasingly important throughout the war, as the naval blockade executed by the Union, prevented the southern states to get sources easily.
