I have a really bad habit. When ever i get a cut or scrap and it scabs over to heal i always go and start picking the scab off.

Cover it with some neosporin and wrap some bandage around it

Yeah You need to just put some antibiotics on the scab. And then maybe get a stress ball so whenever you feel like you need to pick at it then you just squeeze. If you keep picking it it will cause a scar.

I have the same problem. so don't think you are the only one. I have a scar from picking it so much.
