Well, we know that GJI and FJH are congruent angles (have the same angle measure) this will help us to figure it out.

x + 60 = 5x   is our equation.

Find the number that fits. We know that the number must be a multiple of 5, since the last part of the equation is 5x.

5?  5 + 60 = 65     5 x 5 = 25    65 does not equal 25..... at all.

10? 10 + 60 = 70   5 x 10 = 50    70 does not equal 50, although we're closer.

15?   15 + 60 = 75   5 x 15 = 75     75 = 75   There's the answer! x = 15

Therefore, each angle measures 75 degrees!

A group of friends is sharing 2 & 1/2 pounds of berries. If each friend received 5/4 of a pound of berries, how many friends
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

2

Step-by-step explanation:

To get the number of friends sharing the berry, what we need to do is to divide the total pound of berries by the amount of berries each friend received.

Now it would be easier if we worked in the decimal fraction route

That means we are to divide 2.5 by 1.25

And the answer to this is just 2

Anita bought 2.93 ounces of dark chocolate. You’d get 2.93 by subtracting 0.81 from 3.74.
