6 0

we have that

case a)

y=-3x+8 -------> equation 1

6x+2y=4.5--> 2y=-6x+4.5--> divide by 2 both sides--> y=-3x+2.25--> equation 2

equation 1 and equation 2 are parallel

because the slopes are the same

m=-3

so

the system has no solution

case b)

y=9x+6.25 -----> equation 1

-18x+2y=12.5----> 2y=18x+12.5-----> divide by 2 both sides-----> y=9x+6.25--> equation 2

equation 1 and equation 2 are the same

so

the system has infinite solutions

case c)

y=4.5x-5 -----> equation 1

-3x+2y=6----> equation 2

substitute equation 1 in equation 2

-3x+2*[4.5x-5]=6----> -3x+9x-10=6----> 6x=16----> x=2.67

y=4.5*(2.67)-5-----> y=7

the system has the solution (2.67,7)

case d)

y=3x+9 -----> equation 1

x+8y=12.3-----> equation 2

substitute equation 1 in equation 2

x+8*[3x+9]=12.3----> x+24x+72=12.3----> 25x=12.3-72----> x=-2.39

y=3*(-2.39)+9-----> y=1.84

the system has the solution (-2.39,1.84)

therefore

the answer is

the system A has no solution

jarptica [38.1K]

Answer:

600*100mL

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 1,000 milliliters in a liter. This means that in order to convert 600 liters to milliliters, you must multiply 600 by 1,000.

600 x 10^3 mL simplifies to 600 x 1,000 mL

The last expression is also 600 x 1,000 mL

The incorrect expression is the first one, since it is only multiplying by 100 mL instead of 1,000.

katen-ka-za [31]

Answer:

the answer is to make the first offer!

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the surplus ($100000) is rapidly depleting, and though the second individual collects the whole surplus, it is already less than half of the surplus from the previous day. So, once you make the first bid, any offer above 100,000 would be fair to the second person and if he rejects the offer, he will only be able to get 100,000 the next day. You will raise the payout by 100000(1 ) this way.

Can anyone please help me with this thank you
san4es73 [151]

Answer:

x= 0, and x=4

Step-by-step explanation:

x² -x  = 3x, we can subtract 3x from both sides

x² -x -3x = 0, combine like terms

x² -4x = 0 , factor x

x *( x-4) = 0, if the product of 2 numbers equals 0 at least one is 0

x=0 and

x-4 = 0, add 4 to both sides

x= 4

Question 5<br> Which is the quotient of 6 divided by 1/4??
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

24

Step-by-step explanation:

6 divided by 1/4 is equal to 6 times 4, which is 24. You multiply 6 by 4 because in fractional division, the second fraction, which is 1/4, is reciprocated to 4, as you 'flip' 1/4, giving you 4/1 = 4. Thus you multiply 6 by 4 and get 24.
