What is the answer for -|-5x(-7)|

Mathematics

Answer will be -35

Since in an absolute equation, the inside will all be positive. So get rid of the negatives. 5x7. Then, outside of the absolute sign, there is a negative sign. Since that is outside, you cannot turn it into positive. Now, the answer is -35.

\huge\boxed{-35}

When you multiply a negative number by another negative number, you get a positive number. So: -|-5(-7)|\ =\ -|5(7)|

Multiply. -|35|

Absolute value just finds a numbers distance from zero, or makes the number positive. 35 is already positive, so just leave it. \boxed{-35}

The variables a, b, and c represent polynomials where a = x 1, b = x2 2x − 1, and c = 2x. what is ab c in simplest form?
inna [77]
If you would like to write a * b + c in simplest form, you can do this using the following steps:

a = x + 1
b = x^2 + 2x - 1
c = 2x
a * b + c = (x + 1) * (x^2 + 2x - 1) + 2x = x^3 + 2x^2 - x + x^2 + 2x - 1 + 2x = x^3 + 3x^2 + 3x - 1

The correct result would be x^3 + 3x^2 + 3x - 1.
