Cellular phones both have advantages and disadvantages in school. Three advantages of having phones in school are (1) it could help a student contact a parent / guardian when in emergencies, (2) it could be used for learning purposes such as helping to look up a subject, using a phone calculator, etc, (3) communication purposes for after school sports, clubs, and events. However there are disadvantages such as (1) cheating. If a student was allowed to have a cell phone during school time they could easily look up an answer within a moment. (2) distraction. Having a phone can distract students so that they can’t learn the best and get good grades. (3) cyber bullying. On social media, cyber bullying happens so often and it’s hard to prevent the bullying because it’s online. With phones in school, students can bully another student (s) with just one click of a button. I hope this helped!!
