Required

Find RST

To do this, we use:

RST + 36 = 180 --- angle on a straight line

Make RST the subject

RST =- 36 + 180

RST =144

Hence, the measure of RST is 144

VashaNatasha [74]

Answer:

I haven't done these in 2 years and I'm not sure if I remember things correctly but here's what I would put down.

5) No, it is not because the sizes of each section are not even.

6) Yes, this is fair since there are a even chance of getting each number.

7) 3 out of 25 or 3/25

8) The bag with 250 colored tiles would give him a less chance of picking a blue tile. In the first bag, there is a 40% chance that Greg would pick a blue tile while the second bag, he would have a 30% chance of picking a blue tile. To get these percentages, I divided the the amount of blue tiles in the bag by the total amount of tiles.

Explantion for question 8: 10 blue tiles in a bag of 25 so you would do 10/25 which is .4 and as a percentage it would be 40%. For the second question, 75 blue tiles out of 250 total so 75/250 and that would be .3 and as a percentage, it would be 30%. The "/" is a fraction bar and is sometimes used as a division symbol as well, just in case you don't know:)

Sedaia [141]

Answer:

There are 6 ways to run 10 m between two cones of the four cones giving a maximum available distance to run as 60 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

The parameters given are

Distance between two cones = 10 m

Number of cones = 4

Therefore, number of ways to choose two 10 m distances (distance between two cones) from the four cones = \binom{4}{2} = 6

Hence there are only six 10 m distances to run between two cones which gives a maximum distance available to run as 60 m.

If your roll a six sided die what is the probability of getting a 2 or a 6
ohaa [14]

Answer:

(A)1/3

Step-by-step explanation:

probability of getting a 2 = 1/6

probability of getting a 6 = 1/6

so the probability of getting a 2 or a 6

=(probability of getting a 2+probability of getting a 6)

=(1/6+1/6)

=2*(1/6)

=1/3
