Yes, America civilization is different than ancient Rome, Great Britain, China and other great civilizations because america is more advance in technology as compared to other civilization. America has a great economy while ancient Rome has a weak economy and Great Britain, China have good economy but not like the United states. America is a democratic country while some civilization has monarchy and some has other government systems.
Farming remained the the main economic activity. It moved west with settlement. Inventions, such as cotton gin, encouraged planters to grow even more crops.
