TCA cycle

Explanation:

TCA or citric acid cycle is an oxidative pathway which occurs in matrix of mitochondria that completely oxidize Acetyl CoA in form of CO2 and produce NADH, FADH2 and GTP

The aim of this cycle is to fulfill the energy demand of cell

In the first step of the cycle, Acetyl CoA combines with a four-carbon acceptor molecule, oxaloacetate, to form a six-carbon molecule called citrate

After a quick rearrangement, this six-carbon molecule releases two of its carbons as carbon dioxide molecules in a pair of similar reactions, producing a molecule of NADH each time

The enzymes that catalyze these reactions are key regulators of the citric acid cycle, speeding it up or slowing it down based on the cell’s energy needs

The remaining four-carbon molecule undergoes a series of additional reactions, first making an ATP molecule—or, in some cells, a similar molecule called GTP—then reducing the electron carrier FAD to FADH2 and finally generating another NADH; This set of reactions regenerates the starting molecule, oxaloacetate, so the cycle can repeat

Overall, one turn of the citric acid cycle releases two carbon dioxide molecules and produces three NADH, one FADH2, one ATP or GTP

The citric acid cycle goes around twice for each molecule of glucose that enters cellular respiration because there are two pyruvates—and thus, two Acetyl CoA made per glucose

The products of the light reactions of photosynthesis are ______.
Pachacha [2.7K]

The correct answer is - B) ATP and NADPH.

The products of the light reactions of the process of photosynthesis are the ATP and NADPH. The small amount of ATP produced in this process and the energy carrier NADHP are crucial for the functioning of the organisms that use the process of photosynthesis, and the reason for that is that these two are used by the organisms to create glucose, or rather sugars, in the process called the Calvin Cycle. The glucose is what these organisms use as their food, a food they they manage to make themselves, thus making them producers. If the light is missing, then the process of photosynthesis can not be performed because the formation of ATP's will be stopped, as well as the formation of NADHP, so the organisms will not be able to produce their own food.

The view that human development is multi-directional, multi-contextual, multi-cultural, multidisciplinary, and plastic is known
ad-work [718]

Baltes' lifespan perspective that development is lifelong, multidimensional, multidirectional, plastic, contextual, and multidisciplinary.

Many disciplines are capable of make a contribution critical ideas that combine knowledge, which can also additionally in the end bring about the formation of a brand new and enriched expertise of improvement throughout the lifespan.

Baltes is regarding the truth that a complicated interaction of things impact improvement throughout the lifespan, such as biological, cognitive, and socioemotional changes. Baltes argues that a dynamic interplay of those elements is what affects an individual’s improvement.
