Well, D is definitely correct - t<span>hey both share cultures, especially along the border, because they used to be one country in the past.
I'm not sure about the second answer though, perhaps C (</span><span>They both work together as economic partners.) is correct because they do trade a lot. </span>
Latitude determines the climate in any given location
The poles receive more direct sunshine so it has to do with the angle that the light hits. The Earth is round and when light hits it the light wraps around the earth. At the poles the light is very stretched and at the equator it is very direct hence it is hotter at the poles.
