Answer : The average molecular mass of water vapor is, 18 g/mol

Explanation :

Molar mass : It is defined as the sum of the mass of all the atoms each multiplied its atomic masses that are present in the molecular formula of a compound. It is expressed in g/mol.

As we know that,

Atomic weight of hydrogen = 1 g/mole

Atomic weight of oxygen = 16 g/mole

Now we have to calculate the average molecular mass of H_2O.

Average molecular mass of H_2O = 2(1)+1(16)=18g/mole

Therefore, the average molecular mass of water vapor is, 18 g/mol

What volume (mL) of 7.48x10 -2 M phosphoric acid can be completely reacted with 115 mL of .244 M sodium
Y_Kistochka [10]

Answer:125ml - volume of phosphoic acid

Explanation:

The equation of the reaction is

H3PO4 + 3 NaOH ---> Na3PO4 + 3H2O

Such that I mole of H3PO4 reacts with 3 moles of NaOH to produce the products above.

Given that

M1= Molarity of phosphoric acid = 7.48x10^-2 M

n1= number of moles of phosphoric acid = 1

V1=? ml

M2= Molarity of Sodium hydroxide =0.244 M

V2= volume of sodium hydroxide= 115ml

n2=number of moles of sodium hydroxide = 3

Using the Dilution equation formulae,

M1V1/n1 = M2V2/n2

7.48X10-2 x V1 /1= 0.244M x 115ml/3

V1=0.244Mx115mlx1/0.0748M X 3

V1= 28.06/0.2244= 125.04ml

V1=125.04ml rounded up to 125ml

Maslowich

Answer and Explanation:

a. Solid melting below its melting point ⇒ Nonspontaneous

The process is spontaneous above the melting point.

b. Gas condensing below its condensation point ⇒ Spontaneous

Below the condensation point, the subtance is liquid (it condenses)

c. Liquid vaporizing above its boiling point ⇒ Spontaneous

A liquid vaporizes at a temperature above the boiling point, it passes from liquido to the gas state

d. Liquid freezing below its freezing point ⇒ Spontaneous

A liquid freezes at a temperature below its freezeing point, it passes from the liquid to the solid state.

e. Liquid freezing above its freezing point ⇒ Nonspontaneous

The freezing is spontaneous below the freezing point.

f. Solid melting above its melting point ⇒ Spontaneous

A solid melts at a temperature above the melting point

g. Liquid and gas together at boiling point with no net condensation or vaporization ⇒ Equilibrium system

The systems is at equilibrium: there is no net change toward the liquid or towards the gas state.

h. Gas condensing above its condensation point ⇒ Nonspontaneous

The condensation is spontaneous at a temperature below the condensation point.

i. Solid and liquid together at the melting point with no net freezing or melting ⇒ Equilibrium system

The system is at equilibrium: there is no net change towards the solid or the liquid state.

Laughing gas (nitrous oxide, N20) is some-
alukav5142 [94]

Answer: 109.2g

Explanation:

1 mole N2O = 34 g

46.4g = 46.4/34 moles = 1.365 moles

1 mole N2O is from 1 mole NH4NO3

1.365 moles NH4NO3 = 1.365*80g = 109.2g
