I'm assuming that 5π3 is in fact 5π/3

convert radian to degrees:

5π / 3 = 5(180°) / 3 = 900° / 3 = 300°

Area of the circle = π r²
A = 3.14 * (6 ft)²
A = 3.14 * 36 ft²
A = 113.04 ft²

Area of the sector:

113.04 ft²  * 300°/360° = 94.2 ft²

The area of the sector formed by a central angle measuring 5π/3 radian is 94.2 ft²

What is the surface area of a cylinder use 3.14 instead of pi button on your calculator the radius two the height is eight.
DiKsa [7]

Answer:

125.60

Step-by-step explanation:

the formula for the area of a cylinder is A=2πRH+2πRsquared. I find it easiest to multiply pi by 2 instead of anything else which is 6.28. Then I multiply the radius (2) times the height (8) equaling 16. Then you multiply that number by 6.28. Equaling 100.48. Then you have to do the second part which is radius (2) squared equaling 4. Then you multiply that by 6.28, equaling 25.12. then you add the two sums (25.12+100.48=125.60).

hope that makes sense!!

What is the equation in point -slope form. of the line passing through (0, 5) and (-2,11)
Ksivusya [100]
First, you need to find the slope of the line. You can use this with the slope formula, \frac{y_{2} - y_{1}}{x_{2} - x_{1}}, where the x's and y's are the given coordinates.

\frac{y_{2} - y_{1}}{x_{2} - x_{1}}   Plug in the coordinates
\frac{11 - 5}{-2 - 0}   Subtract
\frac{6}{-2}   Divide
-3

Now, plug the slope (m) and one pair of coordinates, I'll use (-2, 11), into point-slope form, y - y_{1} = m (x - x_{1}).

y - y_{1} = m (x - x_{1})   Plug in the values
y - 11 = -3 (x - (-2)   Cancel out the double negative
y - 11 = -3 (x + 2)

HELP FOR THE 2ND TIME I WASTED MY POINTS 1ST TIME I WASNT AT SCHOOL!
lana66690 [7]

Answer:The last option

Step-by-step explanation:the absolute value bars make it positive but the negative on the outside of those bars make it negative, this -|3|=-3 and -|2|=-2. Furthermore, the double negative on the last two dots make a positive, thus -(-2)=2 and -(-3)=3. With this in mind it is -3,-2,2,3 and -|3|,-|2|,-(-2),-(-3)
