~Hello There!~

Anything to a negative power, turns it into 1 over that number.

Therefore 49^{-\frac{1}{2} }  = \frac{1}{49\frac{1}{2} }

Anything to the power of a half, means you have to square root it.

Therefore, the first part is now \frac{1}{7}

When you have a fraction as a power and both numbers are above one:

You must 'root' it by the denominator and put it to the power of the top number.

Therefore, \sqrt[3]{64} = 4

4^{2} = 16

Now we have:

\frac{1}{7} * 16

Simply divide 16 by 7 to get the answer:

2.285714

However, since it is a long number, you can just leave it as \frac{16}{7}

Hope This Helps You!

Good Luck :)

Have A Great Day ^_^

Given: PRST square
yuradex [85]
There is no difficulty in this problem until you construct the figures. How can we do it is shown in the attached picture. After drawing PRST, from the point P, we can draw PMKD and later we can complete PMCT as a result. From this picture, we can see that the side of PMCT is also a. Then, the area of this square is A=a^{2}

Rudik [331]

Answer:

$ 20,189.65

Step-by-step explanation:

Jake's parents want $100,000 at the end of 40 years. They put their money in an account that yields 4% per year compounded continuously. How much money should jakes parents deposit?

From the above question, we are to find the Principal. The formula for Principal compounded continuously =

P = A / e^rt

Where:

A = Amount after time t = $100,000

r = Interest rate = 4%

t = Time in years = 40 years

First, convert R percent to r a decimal

r = R/100

r = 4%/100

r = 0.04 per year,

Then, solve our equation for P

P = A / e^rt

P = 100,000.00 / e ^(0.04×40)

P = $ 20,189.65

Therefore, the amount Jake's parents should invest = $ 20,189.65
