Answer:

C- 1 week

Explanation:

A midlatitude cyclone is a cyclone that has a low atmospheric pressure at its centre, and travels in a counter-clockwise direction. There are six stages of the life cycle on a midlatitude cyclone, namely-

  1. The stationary front- this has shear forces in opposite directions
  2. Cyclone formation- also called cyclogenesis, this occurs when a cyclonic wave develops and increases
  3. Distinct poleward moving- low pressure is formed at the apex of the cyclone when warm and equatorward moving cold fronts develop
  4. The cold front begins to overtake the warm front
  5. The occluded front- Maximum intensity of the cyclone is reached at this stage
  6. The cyclone begins to dissipate as cold air is forced to the bottom of the cyclone and warm air rises

This entire process takes about a week from start to end.

Chromosomal alterations are mutations that change chromosome structure.

Point mutations change a single nucleotide.

Frameshift mutations are additions or deletions of nucleotides that cause a shift in the reading frame.

3 more:

Over a lifetime our DNA can undergo changes or 'mutations?' in the sequence of bases?, A, C, G and T.

This results in changes in the proteins that are made.

Mutations can occur during DNA replication if errors are made and not corrected in time.
