In this passage from "The Perils of Indifference", by Elie Wiesel, he tells about his youth to <em>B. present his personal experience and raise awareness of human suffering</em>. In this speech, Wiesel is speaking about the perils of indifference. As a survivor of the Holocaust, he wants to raise awareness of what the Jews suffered, and to show that the world's indifference is dangerous for those who suffer.
