Answer: 4.10 liters

Explanation:

Given that:

initial volume of gas V1 = 3.0L

initial temperature of gas T1 = 273K

new volume V2 = ?

new temperature T2 = 373K

Since, only volume and temperature are involved, apply the formula for Charle's law

V1/T1 = V2/T2

3.0L/273K = V2/373K

To get the value of Z, cross multiply

3.0L x 373K = 273K x V2

1119 = 273V2

Divide both sides by 273

1119/273 = 273V2/273

4.10L = V2

Thus, the new volume is 4.10 liters

What volume of a 0.240 m solution of barium nitrate is needed to prepare 0.500 l a  solution that is 0.0800 m in nitrate ion?
Doss [256]

Formula for Barium Nitrate = Ba(NO3)2

Thus based on stoichiometry:

1 mole of Ba(NO3)2 contains 2 moles of NO3-

Therefore, concentration of nitrate ion NO3- would be = 2*0.240 = 0.480 M

Use the relation:

V1M1 = V2M2

V1 = V2M2/M1 = 0.500 L * 0.0800/0.480 = 0.0833 L

Thus, 0.0833 L or 83.3 ml solution of Ba(NO3)2 would be required.

What is the frequency of the sinusoidal graph?
Arisa [49]

Answer:

For finding frequency, we need to first find the period of the graph.

The period of a sinusoidal graph is the time interval in which it repeats its pattern.

In the graph, we can see, after 1/period time, it repeats its pattern.

Hence the period of the graph is  \pi /2.

Now we need to find its frequency 1/\pi /2

The formula for frequency is 2/\pi

This is the answer

i hope you pass the assignment

try your best!
