Answer by JKismyhusbandbae: Symmetric's definition is right and left tails are equally balanced and have about the same length of the tail. In the graph the mean and median are approximately equal.
Symmetric is when both sides (left and right) are equal to each other, like a square, if you cut it in half it, both halfs would be symmetric to each other because they have the same exact side lengths.
Fun Fact: Scientists in Harvard said that people with a more symmetric face is usually more attractive than someone else that doesn't.
