Every ecosystem has it's own food chain system. Depend on this food chain, the species of that ecosystem lives. Now, if any new species come into an ecosystem, it will directly affect the food chain of that ecosystem.

As an example, we can say about the ecosystem of the forest. In the forest, there are different trophic levels. Each trophic level has a different type of consumer, which is dependent on others. Such as, if an insect is a primary consumer, the bird can be the secondary consumer because they are dependent on insects. Now, if any new species come in a food chain that also depends on the insect for their life, the birds will face a problem. And if it occurs, it will also affect the tertiary consumers who are dependent on the secondary consumers. This means the food chain will wholly be changed in that forest.
