Part A)How many applications did the university receive from boys who lived in other states?
Part B)Applications to the university from boys represented 40Percent of all applications. How many applications did the university receive In all?
I don't how to do part b so please help me and plz tell how you got your answer

Answer:

a)10%=3560/100=356

5%=356/2=178

30%=356X3=1068

35%=1068+178=1246

b)10% of 40%=3560/4=890

100%890x10=8900(answer)
