Moshe is awkward, clownish, shy, doesn't talk much but sings, deeply spiritual, very poor, and the community likes him.    Are there any options to choose from?   One critical way in which Moshe is important to both Eliezer and the people of Sighet is because of his symbolic meaning.

Moshe the Beadle was a mentor to Eli. A poor, humble man who works at the Hasidic synagogue in Sighet, Moché is well-liked by all the townspeople. He helps Eliezer to study the cabbala, and he teaches him that it is more important to ask God the right questions than to try to find the right answers. Early in the war, Moché is deported to Nazi concentration camps because he is a foreigner. He manages to escape and tries to warn the townspeople of the horrors of the Holocaust. They ignore him and think he's mad. I think Eli sees the flaws in his own people by the way Moshe is treated. The insular stubbornness of the town, by not heeding his warnings, lead to much suffering, death and destruction.

Why are stereotypes a problem?
Rzqust [24]

Answer:

Stereotypes can be a problem because when people don't follow the stereotypes, they can be bullied, called weird, or looked down upon. Also, when too many people follow a specific stereotype, it becomes the new normal.

Explanation:

For example, if you saw a boy wearing a dress, you would most likely stare, and think uhh....thats weird. Another example is actually somewhat racist. If you think of a basketball player, you would most likly think of a black one, leading to the stereotype that African Americans are better at specific sports. I hope this helped!

Last Saturday I visited your showroom in Springfield and ordered an oak desk and two matching three-drawer filing cabinets for my study. When I arrived home this evening, I found the furniture had been delivered in my absence, but the filing cabinets were the four-drawer style. Unfortunately, I can use only the three-drawer style because I lack room for anything higher.

I will appreciate having these cabinets picked up and exchanged for the ones I ordered as soon as possible. Please call to arrange a time when I will be home. I trust this matter can be resolved very quickly, so I can get my files organized soon.
