Conclusions and recommendations are the most widely read sections of any report. Conclusions summarize and explain your findings

and are the heart of your report. The ability to draw sound conclusions and make clear recommendations from your research is crucial to business success. Companies value employees who can analyze data and use it to help answer questions and solve problems.
When drawing conclusions, make sure you:

1. are open to sensationalization or exaggeration
2. remain objective with a degree of subjectivity
3. focus on the content, not your audience

Consider the scenario, and then answer the question.

You are making recommendations after researching and writing a report on cubicle height and work productivity.

How can you make your recommendations stronger? Check all that apply.

1. Avoid prior logical analysis.
2. Make your recommendations agreeable to your audience.
3. Avoid words such as maybe and perhaps.
4. Avoid tying your recommendations to your conclusions.
5. State recommendations as commands.

Determine whether each of the following statements is the finding, the conclusion, or the recommendation.

Employee attrition rate after four years with our company is 35 percent, which is 17 percent higher than that of our aspirational peers. Typical employee promotions occur after five years in our company and after four years in competitive firms.

This is the:

1. conclusion
2. finding
3. recommendation

We are losing trained and promising employees more often than our competition due to slow promotion practices within our company.

write in about ten lines the methods adopted by the church to dominate social and political life of the people in Europe.
JulijaS [17]

The Catholic Church dominated in Europe for several centuries through a complex political and social system that was based in the religious belief that the Church was a divine institution above every earthly power. The Church worked as a network of churches disseminated across the continent, where the local priests took the confession of the people, from commoners to feudal lords. Hence, the Church knew most of the secrets and feelings of every level of the society, knowledge they used to exercise control. Also, since the Pope was seen as the highest spiritual authority, he named bishops that influenced directly on the kings and princes of the different kingdoms of Europe. Other methods the Church used to control the population was fear of hell, shame, and guiltiness. These feelings were spread through the use of institutionalized torture and persecution of heretics (people who didn't agree with the Chruch), like the Holy Inquisition.

leva [86]

Answer:

Nicole is a 30-year-old lawyer who holds very conservative views. She always votes the straight Republican ticket in every election. At a New Year’s Eve party, she meets Frank who is also a 30-year-old lawyer but who holds very liberal views. He tells Nicole that he would never think of voting for a Republican candidate. Based on the research, you should predict that Nicole will dislike Frank because he supports opposing points of view.

Explanation:

Nicole is born and raised republican so she won't have an "open-minded" attitude towards Frank.
