1. Draw a circle 2. Keeping your compasses open the same distance stick the point on the edge of the circle and draw two little arcs that cut the circle. 3. Stick the point in one the arcs and draw another arc further along the circle. Repeat until you have 6 arcs marked. 4. Use a ruler or straight edge to join up the arcs.
