We commonly know two types of carbohydrates. These are called simple and complex carbohydrates. Simple ones don't need a lot to get processed and enter our bloodstream very quickly, providing a quick way of increasing our energy stores. The second type of carbohydrates are complex carbohydrates, these need to get transformed in different substances and can be used for longer durations.

Our bodies use complex carbs and simple carbs. the simple carbs are putting sugar into your blood stream really fast because they are simple to break down. this will cause high blood sugar. complex carbs are more complicated to break down. they release a slower flow of sugar and energy into your blood stream. this will cause you to have more energy for a longer amount of time.

Why is the myth the athletes need additional protein is not true
amid [387]
The body already produces enough protein to get by just fine. However, many people think athletes "use up" too much protein and faster than they gain it back, but that is not true because the body regulates homeostasis. I hope I helped :)

Answer:

Target Heart Rate

Explanation:

Target heart rate is generally expressed as a percentage (usually between 50 percent and 85 percent) of your maximum safe heart rate. The maximum rate is based on your age, as subtracted from 220. So for a 50-year-old, maximum heart rate is 220 minus 50, or 170 beats per minute.
