Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship for
people (men and women alike) who have had a drinking problem. It helps its
members by giving emotional support in the stages of alcoholism that they are
in. It is available almost everywhere in the world and there are no specific
requirements to join the fellowship. It is open to anyone who wants to address
their drinking problem by following the Twelve Steps that are grounded in a set
of principles that are spiritual in nature. The fellowship strongly believes
that in following these steps anyone can expel their obsession to drink and
enable them to live happily and usefully whole.<span> </span>
