Multidisciplinary approach is very helpful in healthcare cost effective for the patient because they search every area before giving the actual treatment to the patient.  

Explanation:

They find out the very effective way which is economical to the patient for his treatment. Some organizations also give the patient options about the treatment and their cost.

Hence the patient is himself responsible for the cost he will pay to the organization. This also affects the mental state of patient in a positive way and it also helps in his cure and recovery.
