kite is a quadrilateral with two pairs of adjacent, congruent sides. The vertex angles are those angles in between the pairs of

congruent sides. Prove the diagonal connecting these vertex angles is perpendicular to the diagonal connecting the non-vertex angles. Be sure to create and name the appropriate geometric figures.

If we have a kite ABCD where AB = CD and DC = CA.
Let E be a midpoint between BC
Since triangle ABC is an isosceles triangle, ray BE bisects angle ABC and is perpendicular to AC.
So, angle ABE = CBE.
Since also triangle CDA is isosceles, line DE is perpendicular to AC for the same reason. Therefore, AC is perpendicular to BD.

The flower shop makes bouquets with ten flowers in each bouquet.
denis-greek [22]
I agree with with the florist because when you divide 207 by 10 you will get 20.7. This means that the florist could make 20 bouquets but seven flowers would be left out.
Hope this helps and please mark brainliest!

How do you do these questions?
Doss [256]

Step-by-step explanation:

(a) Fₙ₋₁ > 0, so Fₙ₊₁ > Fₙ. Each term is bigger than the one before it, so the function is increasing, meaning the series will diverge to infinity.

(b) Fₙ₊₁ / Fₙ = (Fₙ + Fₙ₋₁) / Fₙ

Divide.

Fₙ₊₁ / Fₙ = 1 + (Fₙ₋₁ / Fₙ)

Rewrite the second fraction using negative exponent.

Fₙ₊₁ / Fₙ = 1 + (Fₙ / Fₙ₋₁)⁻¹

Take the limit of both sides as n approaches infinity.

lim(n→∞) Fₙ₊₁ / Fₙ = 1 + lim(n→∞) (Fₙ / Fₙ₋₁)⁻¹

Substitute with φ.

φ = 1 + φ⁻¹

Solve.

φ² = φ + 1

φ² − φ − 1 = 0

φ = [ -(-1) ± √((-1)² − 4(1)(-1)) ] / 2(1)

φ = (1 ± √5) / 2

Since the ratio can't be negative:

φ = (1 + √5) / 2
