Answer:

30x

Step-by-step explanation:

2(x + 14) + (2x - 14) is our equation.

First we distribute the 2 to our first group which is (x + 14)

This is what it will leave us with: 2x + 28(2x - 14)

Then we distribute the 28 to our second group which is (2x - 14)

It will leave us with: 2x + 56x - 28

Next we will combine like terms and our terms are: 2x 56x -28

But our like terms are: 2x 56x

If we had a 56 or 78 or ex we would add it to 28 but this time our only like terms are 2x and 56x.

After we add our like terms it will leave us with 58x - 28.

When we subtract 28 from 58x our answer will be 30x!

I hope this helps! :>

#18 i can't figure this out
Anon25 [30]

Answer:

∠Q = 75 °

Step-by-step explanation:

Since PR = PQ then Δ PQR is isosceles and the base angles are congruent, that is

∠R = ∠Q = 2x + 15

The sum of the 3 angles in a triangle = 180°

Sum the 3 angles and equate to 180

2x + 15 + 2x + 15 + x = 180, that is

5x + 30 = 180 ( subtract 30 from both sides )

5x = 150 ( divide both sides by 5 )

x = 30

Hence

∠Q = 2x + 15 = (2 × 30) + 15 = 60 + 15 = 75°

Which shows the difference (p ^ 2 + 6p + 2)/(4p ^ 2) - (10p ^ 2)/(4p ^ 2) ?
Westkost [7]

Answer:

-9p²+6p+2/4p²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the expression

(p ^ 2 + 6p + 2)/(4p ^ 2) - (10p ^ 2)/(4p ^ 2)

Find the LCM

The LCM = 4p²

[p²+6p+2 - (10p²)]/4p²

Expand

p²-10p²+6p+2/4p²

-9p²+6p+2/4p²

hence the required expression is -9p²+6p+2/4p²
