It takes him 17 minutes to make each shoe.

<em>How to Solve: </em>

  1. take away the 30 min lunch break from the time becomes 11:45 to 4:00
  2. calculate the distance from 11:45 to 4:00 which is 4 hours and 15 minutes to complete each shoe.
  3. Convert the hours into 60 minutes each so 60*4= 240 now add the extra minutes 240+15= 255 minutes
  4. Now divide that bye 15 shoes 255/15= 17 minutes
  5. So it takes 17 minutes to make each shoe. :)

Answer:

A one-sided, two-sample t-test

Step-by-step explanation:

In the context, the values of the population standard deviations are not provided, therefore we have to use the two sample t tests for the difference between the two population means. This claim for the hypothesis or the alternative hypothesis is given as the average selling price is more for the first group of the sample size of 21 as compared to the other group of the sample size of 87. Therefore, we perform an one sided test or the upper tailed test.

M*(x+y)+4y/(x^2-xy-y^2)=(x+2y)/(x^2-xy-Y^2),find the value of M
dybincka [34]

Answer: M  = \frac{x-2y}{x+y}

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{M(x+y)+4y}{x^{2}-xy-y^{2}  } =\frac{(x+2y)}{x^{2} -xy-y^{2} }

M (x + y) + 4y = x + 2y (Multiply x^{2} - xy-y^{2} in both sides)

M (x + y)  = x + 2y - 4y

M (x + y)  = x - 2y  (Divide (x+y) from both sides)

M  = \frac{x-2y}{x+y}
