Dependent. Mary's choices are dependent on the game pieces provided by the board game and Jason's choice are dependent on the pieces provided by the board game and the left over pieces that Mary did not choose.

A bag contains 4 green marbles and 5 white marbles. Suppose a marble is randomly selected. What are the odds in favor of picking
Misha Larkins [42]
The answer would be 5 to 9. There are nine marbles overall and there are five white marbles. If you put the overall number of marbles second and the amount of that color of marbles first, you get D.

Please help me <br> Find x
Elden [556K]

Your question has been heard loud and clear.

This is a right triangle , which means it has a hypotenuse ( longest side of the triangle)

X is the length of the hypotenuse. We need to find x.

By Pythagoras theorem ,

Side^2+side^2= Hypotenuse^2

2.5^2+3^2= x^2

= 6.25+9=x^2

15.25=x^2

So , x = root of 15.25 =  3.9

Therefore , x= 3.9

Thank you

- Mr. Sanders wants to display his American flag in a triangular case as shown below. 18.5 in What is the area of the triangular
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

The area of the triangular case = 61.2 square inches

Step-by-step explanation:

P.S - The exact question is -

Given - Mr. Sanders wants to display his American flag in a triangular case as shown below.

To find - What is the area of the triangular case ?

Proof -

Given that,

Base of triangle = 14\frac{2}{5}in

Height of triangle = 8.5 in

We know that,

Area of triangle = \frac{1}{2}*Base*Height

                          = \frac{1}{2}*8.5*14\frac{2}{5}

                          = \frac{1}{2}*8.5*14.4

                          = \frac{1}{2}*122.4

                          = 61.2

∴ we get

The area of the triangular case = 61.2 square inches
