Answer: It has congruent segments and angles, and both parallel and perpendicular lines.

Step-by-step explanation:

It may have special shapes depending on what the seat and back look like.

If it is a square seat and back then it has some special shapes for sure, like a rectangle.

Hope this helps!

As you know, a chair has 4 legs and a square for a seat.

4 leg pairs can be parallel since they are right next to each other.

The leg and the top of the seat create a congruent triangle. All the other legs with have this meaning it will have 4 congruent angles.

A chair is very symmetrical which makes this question easier. Good choice!

Best of Luck!

Answer:

1) The stars are not constant in their position.

2) No. The stars aren't in original position because of apparent movement of stars in the sky.

3) Due to rotation of earth on its axis , the stars appear to move from west to east in the sky. Actually stars don't move as they are constant in their position but they appear to move with respect to earth.

4) Both the motion of stars & motion of sun are similar because both are an example of apparent motion. Both appear to change their respective positions but in reality , sun & stars are constant in their positions. But as earth is rotating , it appears like sun & stars are changing their positions.

B Christian installed an electric pump to pump water from a borehole into a 30 000 litre cement dam. If the water is pumped at a
skelet666 [1.2K]

Given the amount of water needed to fill the cement dam and the water pump rate, the time needed to fill the dam is 400 minutes or 6hours 40minutes.

Option B)6h 40min is the correct answer.

<h3>How long does it take to fill the dam?</h3>

Given that;

  • Amount of water needed to fill the dam A = 30000 litres
  • Pump rate r = 75 litres per minute
  • Time needed to fill the dam T = ?

To determine how long it take to fill the dam, we say;

Time need = Amount of water needed ÷ Pump rate

T = A ÷ r

T = 30000 litres ÷ 75 litres/minute

T = 400 minutes

Note that; 60min = 1hrs

Hence,

T = 6hours 40minutes

Given the amount of water needed to fill the cement dam and the water pump rate, the time needed to fill the dam is 400 minutes or 6hours 40minutes.

Option B)6h 40min is the correct answer.

Graph h(x)=7 sin x ?
DENIUS [597]

Answer:

The graph of h(x) is shown below.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given function is

h(x)=7\sin x

The general form of sine function is

f(x)=a\sin(bx+c)+d

Where, a is amplitude, b is period, c is phase shift and d is vertical shift.

So, the amplitude of the given function is 7, period is 1, phase shift is 0 and vertical shift is 0.

It means the minimum value of function is -7 and maximum value is 7.

Put x=0 in the given function.

h(x)=7\sin (0)=7(0)=0

Put  x=-\frac{\pi}{2} in the given function.

h(x)=7\sin (-\frac{\pi}{2})=-7(1)=-7

Put  x=\frac{\pi}{2} in the given function.

h(x)=7\sin (\frac{\pi}{2})=7(1)=7

Therefore the points on the function are (0,0), (-\frac{\pi}{2},-7),(\frac{\pi}{2},7).

The graph of function is shown below.
