Natural Selection is the process where organisms with favorable traits are more likely to reproduce and spread their traits into the next Generation. Over time this process allows organisms to adapt and evolve to their environment.
The process in which, according to Darwin's theory of evolution, organisms that are better adapted to their environment tend to survive longer and transmit more of their genetic characteristics to succeeding generations than do those that are less well adapted.
A lava fountain is an example of the amount of heat stored in the Earth. Geysers, lava mountains and hot springs are all natural examples of geothermal energy.
