Answer:

The coordinates of R are (x_1,y_1)=(4,5)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : M(5, 7) is the midpoint of RS. The coordinates of S are (6, 9).

To find : What are the coordinates of R?

Solution :

We have given,

A line RS which has a mid point M.

Let, the coordinates of R be (x_1,y_1)

The coordinates of S are (x_2,y_2)=(6, 9)

The coordinates of M are  (x_3,y_3)=(5,7)

Applying mid-point formula,

(x_3,y_3)=(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2})

(5,7)=(\frac{x_1+6}{2},\frac{y_1+9}{2})

Solve separately,

x- coordinate is

\frac{x_1+6}{2}=5

x_1+6=10

x_1=4

y- coordinate is

\frac{y_1+9}{2}=7

y_1+9=14

y_1=5

So, The coordinates of R are (x_1,y_1)=(4,5)

Caiden earned $475 from mowing lawns last summer. He deposited this money in an account that pays an interest rate of 3.8%. What
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

The balance after 15 year is  $831.25 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula

Where P is the principle and r is the rate of interest in the decimal form and t is the time.

As given

Caiden earned $475 from mowing lawns last summer.

He deposited this money in an account that pays an interest rate of 3.8% compounded annually.

Here

P = $475

3.8% is written in the decimal form.

= 0.038

r = 0.038

t = 15 years

Put in the formula

Amount = $831.25

Therefore the balance after 15 year is  $831.25 .

choose all answer that's are correctall trapezoids are quadrilateralsall rhombuses are parallelogramall rectangles are squaresal
Alexxandr [17]

EXPLANATION

The right options are:

(1) All trapezoids are quadrilaterals because trapezoids are four-sided polygons, so they are all quadrilaterals.

(2) All rhombuses are parallelogram because they are quadrilaterals (plane figure, closed shape, four sides) with four equal-length sides and opposite sides parallel to each other.

(4) All squares are parallelogram because they fulfill criteria of being a rectangle because all angles are right angle and opposite sides are equal.
