Describe the activity of protons when an acid and base are mixed together

Biology

In acid-base reactions, proton (H+) moves from acid to base, meaning that the acid is a donor and base is acceptor of that proton. This happens because of the difference in potential energy (proton goes from higher potential energy to a lower potential energy).

So, definition can be: an acid is a molecule (or ion) that can transfer a proton to another molecule and a base is a molecule that can accept a proton.

When one magnesium atom and two chlorine atoms transfer electrons, magnesium loses two electrons, and each chlorine gains
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

The formation of magnesium chloride, MgCl2, is another example of ionic bonding. When magnesium reacts with chlorine, a magnesium atom loses two electrons and becomes a positively charged ion, Mg2+. At the same time, two chlorine atoms gain one electron each and become negatively charged chloride ions, Cl−.

Which describes two species interacting so closely that they are adapted to each other? 1 generalized evolution 2convergent evol
GuDViN [60]

Answer: Option 3 Coevolution

Explanation:

Coevolution is a process in which two individuals reciprocally affect each other's evolution. In this process the interacting species exert selective pressures on each other thus, affecting their evolution. Due to this reciprocal adaption they become so close that the evolution of one species is affected by the other.
