Yes, the new coordinates would be:

R': (9,9)
P': (3,3)
Q': (9,3)

You would multiply all of the current coordinates by three (its scale factor of enlargement) to obtain these answers. Hope this helps!

Please help me with this math problem!
Mice21 [21]
W=x
L=2x+17

Double everything since we need to lengths and two widths to find the perimeter

2x+17+2x+17+x+x = 76
Combine like terms

6x+34=76
Solve for x
First step is subtract 34 from both sides

6x=42
Next you divide both sides by 6 in order to get x by itself

X=7

Now you plug in 7 into the x’s in length and width

W=7 cm
L=31 cm

THE WIDTH IS 31 CM

Check:

7+7+31+31 = 76 cm
It equals 76 cm just like the problem said so therefore it is right.

Veronika [31]

Answer:

Now we can solve a Quadratic Equation in 5 steps: Step 1 Divide all terms by a (the coefficient of x 2). Step 2 Move the number term (c/a) to the right side of the equation. Step 3 Complete the square on the left side of the equation and balance this by adding the same value to the right side of the equation.

Write the equation of a circle with center (6,4) that passes through the coordinate (2,1). In your final answer, include all of
Mars2501 [29]
We are given with a circle of center at (6,4) and that passes through (2,1). In this case, we follow the formula (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2.Substituting, (x-6)^2 + (y-4)^2 = r^2. at (2,1), we substitute the points: r then is equal to 5 which is the radius of the circle. The final equation of the circle is then  (x-6)^2 + (y-4)^2  = 25.
