Answer: Option (B) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

Steel is an alloy that is made up of different metals out of which one is iron. As it is known that iron is easily attracted towards an electromagnet.

So, an electromagnet can be used to divide food cans from soft-drink cans.

On the other hand, an electromagnet is not able to attract any plastic material, glass bottles, aluminium drink cans, paper cardboard etc. Therefore, an electromagnet will not help us to separate out any of these materials.

Hence, we can conclude that an electromagnet can be used in this type of recycling plant to divide food cans from soft-drink cans.

Steel is magnetic, aluminium is not. So the electro magnet would pull only the stell food cans, separating them.

Why would a vascular system be an adaptation for a plant on land?
Olin [163]

Answer:

Vascular have a system that is intricate and the plant can move water to distribute it to the whole plant. Vascular plants are able to grow bigger due to this ability. Example of this would be a tree or a flower Non vascular plants are usually small plants that are close to the ground.

Explanation:

Bryophytes, which evolutionarily precede tracheophytes, are plants that lack true vascular tissues by which to circulate liquids. These plants include mosses, hornworts and liverworts. Tracheophytes, which comprise about 93 percent of all land plants, all possess vascular systems that permit the internal circulation of liquids and nutrients.
