Answer:

Sorry, I don't know exactly what an inequality is but he needs to mow 4 lawns.

Step-by-step explanation:

$125-$45=80

$20x?=$80

?=4

Say he needs to mow 'x' no of lawns to go on trip,

<u>So money he will get by mowing lawn</u>

=$20x

which is the amount of money he needs

(=$125)

But he already has $45.

So,

$125-$45=$80 is the amount of money he will require just to go trip.

i.e. ,

➧20x ⩽80

which is the required inequality.

<u>Divide both sides by 20,</u>

<h3>➧x⩽4</h3>

<u>which means he needs to mow </u><u>4</u><u> lawns to go on trip.</u>

Question 1<br> What is the solution of n² - 49 = 0?<br> 0 +7<br> 07<br> -7<br> O no solution
Sphinxa [80]
Hey there!

This can be written as n^{2}-(7)^{2}

This is in form of \fbox{a^{2}-b^{2}} , it can be expanded as \fbox{(a-b)(a+b)}

=> (n-7)(n+7)=0
=> n -7 = 0 or n + 7 = 0
=> n = 7 or n = -7

So option 7 , -7 are correct.

Hope this is clear :)
Have a good day:)

If we're solving for the ninety degree angle, which I seem to doubt, then if 3x=90 then 2x=60 giving a missing total of 30. 30/3 equals 10

I need help on how to solve the problem and the correct answer :)
lakkis [162]

This is a system of linear equations. First, you can add the two equations together to eliminate the y so that you can solve for x:

-5x + -7x = 0 + -96

-12x = -96

x = 8

Use x to solve for y:

-5 * 8 + 8y = 0

Add 40 to both sides and divide by 8:

y = 5

So, x = 8 and y = 5.

A triangle has a height of 15 in. and a area of 120 in. What is the length of it's base?
jek_recluse [69]

Answer:

b=16

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula~ 1/2*b*h

1/2*15*b=120

7.5b=120

b=120/7.5

b=16

(you can substitute the value to check-i've done it below)

1/2*16*15=?

if you work it out, the ans will be 120, therefore the ans is correct!
