Answer:

An antibody is a blood protein in response to and counteracting a specific antigen. Antibodies combine chemically with substances that the body recognises as alien, such as bacteria, virsues and foreign substances in the blood.

- An antigen is a large moleule on the outside of a cell

- All living cells have antigens on the surface of their plasma membrane- These identify cells as"self' within the immune system

- Cells from the same individual have the same antigens while cells from different indivudial have different antigens

- A/B/O blood groups are related to antigens
