From what I looked up on Google vegans don't eat fish, maybe some do but vegetarians do still eat fish. The reason why is because their are many types of health benefits that come with eating fish. I also feel like they ignore the fact that there food was a real animal cause some of society does not want to look at the thing there eating as a once alive animal cause I feel like they know how badly some animals are taken care of through there life time then kill through half of it. And most feel it's not okay to eat dogs is because most people actually live around them and know how sweet and kind they are and how they are pets for most. I also feel if it were cows (or some farm animal) instead, like people kept them as pets(just an example) then they would see the personality of a cow and I guess they would feel more pity for them and not kill them. I hope you understand it's hard to explain my thinking pattern.
