Add 40+90=130 and then divide that by 180. 180-130= 50
Because angle 1 is along a straight line. Straight lines have a angle measurement of 180. Angle 2 is a right angle and there for is 90 degrees so 40 (The first angle) + angle 1+ angle 2= 180. Just substitute. Hope this helps :)<span />

You are a space alien. You visit planet Earth and abduct 97 chickens, 47 cows, and 77 humans. Then, you randomly select one Eart
ale4655 [162]

Answer:

there are 97 + 47 + 77 = 221 creatures from Earth in the alien spaceship.

the probability that a human being is chosen at random = 77 / 221 = 0.3484 = 34.84%

the probability that a chicken is chosen at random = 97 / 221 = 0.4389 = 43.89%

the probability of choosing a cow at random = 100% - 34.84% - 43.89% = 21.27%

What is 1.23 pounds written as a mixed number
sergiy2304 [10]

The answer would be 1\frac{23}{100}

In 1.23, we know that 1 is a whole number and .23 is part of a whole, so it is a fraction.

.23 can be written as \frac{23}{100} because the decimal is till the hundredths place.

We cannot simplify \frac{23}{100} any further so we leave it as is.

The answer would then be 1\frac{23}{100}.
