blagie [28]
This happens because Jamal and Jovani are in different stage of their cognitive development, which indicates that reasoning ability is very different from both children.

In this case, Jamal is in the stage of concrete operations, this stage covers from 7 to 12 years, and the development of the logic is observed to solve the problems, develop the capacity to understand about the preservation of the matter and they leave egocentrism.

On the contrary, Yovani is in the preoperational stage, which covers from 2 to 7 years, at this stage the child cannot logically still reason, or perform mental operations, so Yovani's reasoning is limited to analyzing things according to what he observes.

ira has a problem where he tends to speak without thinking, and this has caused him to lose friend and to damage relationships
rosijanka [135]

When Ira wears a rubber band that fit loosely around his wrist, and that he uses to "snap" himself with it just hard enough to sting a little bit, he is using aversion therapy. This type of therapy expose the patient to a stimulus while at the same time, being subjected to some form of discomfort. This is done so that the patient begins to associate the discomfort with his/her own behavior, in order to decrease or completely interrupt such act. In the case of Ira, what aversion therapy would look for, is that Ira would start associating the discomfort of snapping the rubber band against his skin with talking without thinking. And by doing so, he would stop to talk without thinking.

In the context of the stages of change model, which of the following corresponds to a stage where people do not exercise but are
Volgvan

Answer:

b. Contemplation

Explanation:

The Stages of Change Model focuses on the decision-making of a person and is a model of intentional change. In other words, it is used when the person actively makes the decision of making a change.

The stages of this model are:

 • Precontemplation: People do not intend to take action in the foreseeable future (within the next 6 months). They don't even realize that their behavior is problematic.
 • Contemplation: People are intending to start the healthy behavior in the foreseeable future (within the next 6 months). They start to recognize that their behavior is problematic but still feel ambivalent towards changing it.
 • Preparation: People are ready to take action within the next 30 days. They start taking small steps toward the change and think this can lead to a healthier life.
 • Action: People have recently changed their behavior (within the last 6 months) and intend to keep moving forward with it. They now have healthier habits.
 • Maintenance: People have sustained their behavior change for over 6 months and they are working to prevent relapses.
 • Termination: People have no desire to return to their unhealthy behaviors and they know they won't relapse.

We can see that in the contemplation stage, people still feel ambivalent towards the idea of changing their behavior (and therefore there's no action yet) but they intend to change this behavior within the next 6 months.

Thus, we can say that if a person doesn't exercise (and therefore there's no action) but are thinking of becoming more active in the next six months (intend to change their behavior), this person would be in the stage of contemplation.
