The main responsability of the Supreme Court is to protect the constitution of the United States by determining if existing laws, new laws, proposed laws, and are coherent with the constitution.

The Supreme Court is also the highest-court of the country, meaning that it solves those cases that have not been solved by other courts, as long as the court accepts to hear those cases.

The main power of the Supreme Court is to check on the constitutionaly of the acts and laws passed by Congress, and the executive orders signed by the President.
