  • <u>Consumption of dietary supplements</u> : Smokers who take beta carotene supplements had an increasing risk of lung cancer.
  • <u>Second hand smoke</u> : If a person does not smoke, but if he inhale  or take breath in the smoke of others, it can increase the risk of developing lung cancer. It is thought to cause more than 7000 deaths each year from lung cancer.
