Answer: y = 7.5

Step-by-step explanation: To solve for <em>y</em> in this equation, we want to get <em>y</em> by itself on the left side of the equation.

Since <em>y</em> is being multiplied by 4, to get <em>y</em> by itself, we need to divide by 4 on the left side of the equation. Since we divided by 4 on the left side, we must also divide by 4 on the right side.

On the left side, the 4's cancel out so we're simply left with <em>y</em>. On the right side, we have 30 divided 4 which is 7.5.

So we have <em>y = 7.5</em>.

Find the x is qs bisects pqr and pqr=82
slavikrds [6]

if ∡PQR = 82°, and the ray QS bisects it, it cuts ∡PQR into two equal halves, ∡PQS and ∡RQS, each of which is then 82/2, or 41°.

\bf \stackrel{\measuredangle PQS}{10x+1}=41\implies 10x=40\implies x=\cfrac{40}{10}\implies x=4

kondaur [170]

You can see the polygon in the attached figure.

It's a trapezoid, so it's not equilateral, nor regular.

I'm not sure if this is right or not could someone also explain why ?
nikitadnepr [17]
The mapping rule for 90 degrees counterclockwise would be (-y,x). So if you had (x,y) it would transfer to (-y,x). Yours is wrong it should be (4,-3). Remember
-(-4) is 4 and -3 stays as -3.

Basically, memorize these mapping rules.

Hope this helped!
