Intercostal muscle are located between the ribs and helps in the movement with of the chest. These help in increasing the volume of the chest and are mainly associated with the breathing. Young childrens do not have very well developed intercostal muscle and so they use their diaphragm to breathe.
In Egypt gold and treasure was buried in tombs because it was believed that the Pharaohs would need it in the afterlife. When a Pharaoh was buried, slaves or servants would also be killed in the tomb as well, with the belief that they would serve the Pharaoh in the afterlife.

The answer is water. It is mainly absorbed in the ileum and re absorbed in the colon. But note that not all water you take in is absorbed, as the faeces is wet.
