That would be -20. a negative divided by a negative number is positive, positive divided by negative is negative bc even numbers of negatives make it positive. and ofc 20 x 5 = 100, hence the ‘20’

The correct answer would be -20. To get the answer use the rules of signs for division. If you used the rules correctly the problem would look like this : -(100 / 5). The answer would be -(20) in which case you would remove the parenthesis and get he answer -20.

In Exercises 26-28, write an equation. Then solve.
saul85 [17]

Answer:

The temperature outside is  75.6°F

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

The temperature of dry ice = - 109.3°F

Let x be the temperature outside in Fahrenheit.

It is given that the temperature of dry ice  is 184.9°F less than  the outside temperature.

Thus, we can write the equation:

x - 184.9 = -109.3

Solving, the above equation, we get:

x - 184.9 = -109.3\\x = -109.3 + 184.9\\x = 75.6

Thus, the temperature outside is  75.6°F

For $205, Frank can buy $205/$33.50 = 6.12 sets of shirt and ties.

Frank can buy 6 shirts (and 12 ties) for an amount less than $205.

_____

Nataliya [291]

Step-by-step explanation:

The answer is C

We can easily eliminate B and D since Ms. Macdonald isn't starting with 3 rabbits.

We can also eliminate choice A, because 5 to the 3rd power isn't 15.

5 to the 3rd power is 125, therefore the choice is C
